Moving from darkness to light and from chaos to new creation is no superficial change.
Listen
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6)
What words and images are adequate to convey the experience of conversion? For the Apostle Paul under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, nothing less than a comparison of God's work of conversion to His work in creating the universe adequately described the profound change that took place when he encountered the Lord Jesus Christ on the Damascus road. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." Moving from darkness to light and from chaos to new creation is no superficial change.
How is it with you? Has there been a clear move from spiritual blindness and ignorance to knowledge of the true and living God? Has God moved you from the domain of darkness to encounter the light in the face of the Lord Jesus Christ?
