John 1:10-12 declares the nature of the firm foundation that gives those who are saved total security along with peace, and even joy, in the worst of trouble.
Listen
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name (John 1:10-12).
John 1:10-12 declares the nature of the firm foundation that gives those who are saved total security along with peace, and even joy, in the worst of trouble. All are living in God's world and under His sovereign control. The meaning behind events is hidden, but it is known and designed by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God permits evil to exist in the world as a means of teaching, instructing, and showing the need for salvation. No matter how dire the circumstances, the providence of God is at work to care for His world and show compassion for His children. The plan of God to save sinners, and for the ultimate restoration of His creation, will not be undone.
