Has Christianity failed? Not at all. The greatest cause of man's troubles is his rejection of Christianity. Although the focus of the Gospel is not on the social improvement of the present world but on the salvation of souls from God's wrath for life in the world to come, history reveals the manifold benefits of Christiantiy even to unredeemed society under the curse. Christianity never promises to bring peace to this world, but peace with God.
