Listen

...having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever, because "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the Word of the Lord endures forever." (1 Peter 1:23-25)

We live in an age in which we are bombarded by words. But whose words can we trust? Every waking hour we hear an read the words of men from all kinds of sources, some righteous but the vast majority sinful. In contrast to all of these stands the eternal Word of God. It is an up-to-date Word; the living Word; the enduring Word; the one and only Word in which we can trust for all of the issues of life and eternity. The imperative is that we must listen to the Word!
