Dear Friends,

The Lord has shown Himself mighty on our behalf since I sent out an urgent request for your prayers and financial help last weekend.

Early in March we were busy doing the work of the ministry in what we thought were settled circumstances. Just 23 days later, not only has the Lord decreed that we must leave the office building we have occupied for the past sixteen years, He has also provided another place - and we believe it is a better one in which to carry on the work.

A Rapid Move

Since my e-mail last Saturday, our faithful team has dismantled the offices and packed everything - over 400 boxes - to be ready to move to a location we were not yet certain of. But by the Lord's hand events moved quickly. Yesterday morning I signed the lease for new office space in Manchester, Maryland about ten miles from our present location. We will move everything - two moving van loads - on Tuesday, March 30.

The entire sequence of events has been a continual and powerful demonstration of the wise providential workings of our great God. These things have not only been a testimony to all of us as believers in Christ, but also to people who have been involved who are not believers. Among them or our landlords (both old and new) and the attorney who has done the legal work associated with this process. We are praying, and ask you to pray with us, that the testimony of TTW, and God's faithfulness to us, would be used by the Spirit to bring them to faith in Christ.

Budget Update

When the Lord began to clearly identify the place where He wanted us to go, we quickly developed a budget covering the move, renovations required, legal fees, and other costs. We arrived at the figure of $22,000 that I mentioned a week ago. Since then we have received over $17,000 designated for this need.

We have also found out that new Maryland building code requirements may add to the costs we estimated. We will not know for certain about this for one or two more weeks, but we and the contractors who are bidding on the work are doing everything we can to stay within that budget. While renovations are being done we will squeeze our operations into a section of the building that does not require work.

Please Continue to Pray and to Consider Giving

We ask you to continue to pray for us, for strength, wisdom, discernment, and safety - especially in this coming week as we move, set up temporary operations, and hopefully complete negotiations with contractors so that work can be completed by the end of April and we can fully set up in our new office space in early May.

We Are Grateful to God for You

During the past week we have heard from friends of the ministry we have known for many years, in some cases from the beginning. We have also heard from many people previously unknown to us. They have been reading The Profitable Word, listening to The Scripture-Driven Church broadcast, using our online Bible Knowledgebase and other resources, or attended a conference, but had never contacted us before.

We are grateful beyond words for every one of you, both new friends and old. We are grateful for the prayer that has gone up to the throne of grace - and we sense that there has been fervent intercessory prayer for us. We are grateful for every gift that has been given, large or small. Only in glory will we know all that the Lord has done. This is indeed His work, not ours, and we are His servants and vessels. May we remain faithful to the end.
